Kingdom Christian Academy

FAQs

What is the denomination of Kingdom Christian Academy?
Kingdom Christian Academy is an interdenominational Christ-centered school. If you are interested in enrolling your child(ren) at KCA, we encourage you to contact the school office at 573-642-2117 and arrange to meet our administrator and tour the school to see if the environment we offer is a good fit for your family. Please see our Statement of Faith below.

Is there a dress code?
Kindergarten – 8th grade students at KCA wear school uniforms. We at KCA hold to the philosophy that students should develop acceptable patterns of deportment, dress, and grooming. The school uniform has been implemented to develop proper emphasis on modesty and appropriateness. This implementation also reduces competition, as well as peer pressure in the areas of clothing and attire. In addition, it creates an environment where the focus is on academics and character building.
Will my child just be a number at the school?
The advantage of small class sizes is allowing for individual attention for each student. There is a small student to teacher ratio, and students are known by name.
Why do you have a 4-day school week?
The 4-day school week at KCA was a foundational aspect established when the school originated to emphasize and promote time together with family. We attend Monday-Thursday each week.
What can I expect from a KCA weekly chapel?
Pledges and prayers open each chapel service. This is followed by a presentation given by one of the classes to illustrate a Scripture or godly character trait. Then a scriptural message is shared, usually by a minister from one of the various churches around the area who has been invited as a guest speaker.
